Rental Registry Invoicing

FY24 Rental Registry Invoicing:

The Planning, Permitting & Assessing Services Office assists Code Enforcement by completing the Rental Registry invoicing.  Per Chapter 7 Minimum Housing Ordinance, the annual FY25 Rental Registry Invoice was due on or before July 1, 2024.  The fee is $60 per dwelling unit.  After July 1, there is an 8% penalty and a 1% per month interest rate applied to the base fee, per the City's Fee Schedule.

There are multiple ways of getting us back your information:

• complete the form, print it out and sign it, put your check with if it needs payment, into an envelope and mail back to City Hall to the address on the invoice;
• do the same as above but drop it off in person
• do the same as above but put in in the silver-colored drop-box located on the front of City Hall (Door facing City Hall Park)
• Pay online using the Xpress-Pay Portal HERE; use this HOW-TO to pay using either a credit card or an on-line check, and please remember to email us a copy of the receipt you get in your personal email once you've paid on line; and remember to attach the form filled out and send it back to Michelle at PermitAdmin@barrecity.org.
