Drug Disposal

The Barre City Police Department provides both a secure drop box for unwanted medications and a drop box for needles/sharps in partnership with the Greater Barre Safe Sharps Alliance. These receptacles are located within our lobby and are available for public use 24 hours a day/7 days a week. 

The Department participates in the DEA's National Drug Take-Back Day which is held biannually (April and October).
