Overdose Awareness

The Barre City Police Department provides training and equipment to officers to provide opiate overdose patients with first responder level access to Nasal Naloxone. We are further collaborating with community stakeholders to implement a Naloxbox program  within the greater Barre area which will place opioid rescue kits strategically placed throughout the community.
